App is “inactive” in Apple HealthKit

Update: I’ve received information from the developers that at some point the write data will be integrated into the Apple HealthKit. I eagerly await. Meanwhile, there have been instances of the app freezing (and I have to get out and come back in). Hope that will be looked into. Thanks! The app is beautiful. But I have one problem. When the app is accessed to the Apple HealthKit app, I go to “Blood Glucose” on the dashboard, select “Share Data” then turn “on” the Sugar Senses app, after clicking “edit” in the upper right of screen, I’m able to click “Sugar Sense” in the “Data Sources” section. The red “check” appears, I click “Done” in the upper right of screen, then switch screens. When I go back to the dashboard and re-check (share data) the app, the “Data Sources” now indicates Sugar Sense is inactive. This feels like a “bug” to me. I have restarted my phone, deleted the app from the phone, and iTunes, re-downloaded it, essentially starting over and it still says Sugar Sense is inactive. I thought my readings from the Sugar Sense app would seamlessly be shared on the Health app. Any suggestions, please?

New phone or app upgrade ruined this app

This used to be a quick and functional way to enter blood sugar but with my new phone, I now have to answer a bunch of questions to get to the entry screen. The same questions I already answered yesterday... Twice. Plus it didnt bring my history over. Obviously the history loss was an artifact of the phone change but Im not sure why the app is now so info needy.

Sugar Sense

This is a great app for tracking my blood sugar. I really like it.

Perfect

This is a great app. It allows me to email my progress to my doctor.

Love it!

I love that I can schedule alarms that remind me to check my blood glucose levels. This app shows me which readings are above and below range and even estimates an A1C. Best blood glucose app that Ive ever used!

Review

Excellent, meets my needs perfectly

Very helpful!!

Great app easy to use, good for people who dont like using complicated tracking!

Great app

I love this app! I have reactive hypoglycemic and it helps me keep track of what my sugar levels are as well as how much carbs I take in. I do recommend this for anybody who had diabetes/hypoglycemia. My only concern is that when I first got the app, it asks you to choose what type of diabetic you are, there is no option for hypoglycemia. I ended up saying that I was a type 1. I would love for a new update for hypoglycemia to be an option for what I am. But great app all around!! Samantha :)

Great App

I am very pleased with this app. I was just diagnosed with type 2 and this app is just what I needed to adjust to my "new normal". I would love the health kit integration but great app none the less.

Best glucose app

Love it. So easy to get use.

Good App

So far I am finding this app very helpful to keep track of my blood sugar. I am anxious to see how well it does sending a report.

Love this App

Love the user friendly App! Thank you

The BEST diabetes app

This is a wonderful app. Its easy & the results are right there to see. I had a question & emailed the help desk & I received a fast response. I even received another email later asking me if I was about to find what I was asking for. I NEVER have had that happen to me.

None

Easy to use. Connects with Jawbone. Really like that.

Excellent

I really like the A1C estimate feature.

Great App

Im able to correlate my Fitbit with this App to minimize redundant entries. Finally! An App with compatibility.

Thank you for your excellent app

Thank you for this excellent app. It is easy to use and helps me track my glucose with ease.

I love it!!!

This is the first app to actually inspire and motivate me to not only maintain good glucose levels, but also to monitor my eating habits and to work out!!!! Im motivated!!!

Needs two more features to perfect.

Great app. Would be better if I was able to input levels through my Apple Watch. Also, why cant it write blood glucose levels to HealthKit!?
